DigiCow is a mobile application for dairy farmers in India. The application is built to assist the farmers in keeping records of their dairy cows, feed, and other farm-related activities. The application is meant to help farmers in maintaining and improving their farm's productivity.
The application is built in such a way that it can be used by a farmer to record his dairy cow's information, milk production, milk sales, health, breeding, and feeding information. The user has the option to access analyzed financial statements and receive important alerts such as dropped milk production, when to expect the cow to calf, and when to look for heat signs indicating a failed conception. In addition, the user has the option to access a loan facility, where he can get loans for his personal and farming expenses. The user can also get technical assistance from the app, through the DigiCow chart room, with the user having the ability to interact with experts and other farmers.
